Breath of the Wild Metroid mod with Samus, her ship, & BGM is incredible

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild probably already enjoys more mods than most Nintendo games thanks to its versatility and general extreme popularity. But this Breath of the Wild Metroid mod is probably the most awesome one I’ve seen yet. Although, it’s actually a series of mods in development from modder Yainskofso. These include a Samus modGunship mod for her ship, and Metroid background music (BGM) mod — all of which you can see on incredible display in the MK YouTube video below.

Install OctoPrint on RaspberryPi : Super Simple Setup (from a Mac!)

We’ll install OctoPrint on a Raspberry Pi using OctoPi, a preconfigured disk image with everything you need already installed. And we’ll do it from a Mac. (But the concepts are the same if you’re on Windows.)

Once the Raspberry Pi is set up, we’ll connect it to the printer. Then we’ll send a G-code file to it, and start a print!

Visualize noise pollution with an Arduino sound meter

In our day-to-day lives we encounter a wide variety of ambient sounds, and in order to highlight noise pollution, Lucía Garbo decided to make an elegant meter

The device features an outer shell designed in Fusion 360 and 3D-printed, concealing an Arduino Mega, a SparkFun Sound Detector, and associated circuitry inside. Components are neatly connected via a perfboard, which should allow easy modification later.
