Just a quick Raspberry Pi 4 Emulation situation update videos, Lakka is running on the Pi4 but it’s still really early and a lot of emulators are not boring or fiction properly. An Official RetroPie version for the Pi4 is not yet available as of making this video but I still wanted to update everyone on the Progress of RetroArach On the Raspberry Pi 4.

Raspberry Pi 4 has just been released with many improvements over Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ including a faster processor, a proper Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 3.0 interfaces, and 4K video support. That’s the theory, but how does it work in practice?

I can now let you know as I’ve received a Raspberry Pi 4 sample courtesy of Cytron, and ran some tests and benchmarks on the very latest boards from the Raspberry Pi foundation.

Is 4GB the Limit for the Raspberry Pi 4?

So you’ve rushed off to your favourite dealer in Raspberry Pi goodies and secured your shiny new Raspberry Pi 4. Maybe you’re anxiously waiting for the postie, or perhaps if you’re lucky enough to live near Cambridge you simply strolled into the Pi shop and bought one over the counter. You’ve got the best of the lot, the 4 GB model, and there’s nothing like the feeling of having the newest toy before everyone else does.

You open the box, pull out the Pi, and get busy. The instruction leaflet flutters to the floor, ignored and forgotten.
