Creating a MIDI Pass-Through Recorder

If you’ve ever used audio software on the computer, you probably know that MIDI exists: a signalling protocol that allows controllers to control virtual instruments like synths. It’s also the protocol used by real audio hardware to talk to each, and you can think of it as the language in which, rathar than communicating a fluctuating voltage signal or series of discrete sample values, devices talk about what is being done on them (“A4 got pressed”, “F4 got released”, “the mod wheel moved down”, etc).

DIY Soil NPK Meter || Measure Soil Nutrient Content using Soil NPK Sensor & Arduino

In this video, we will learn about the interfacing of Soil NPK Sensor with Arduino. The soil nutrient content can be easily measured using NPK Soil Sensor & Arduino. Measurement of soil content N (nitrogen), P (phosphorus), and K (potassium) is necessary to determine how much additional nutrient content is to be added to soil to increase crop fertility.

The soil fertility is detected using NPK sensors. A major component of soil fertilizer is nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The knowledge of the soil nutrient concentration can help us to learn about nutritional deficiency or abundance in soils used to endorse plant production. Apart from measuring Soil NPK, you can also measure Soil Moisture Content using Soil Moisture Sensor, which is explained in my one the previous video.

Turn A RaspberryPi 4 Into A PLEX Media Server

In this video, we show you how to turn a Raspberry Pi 4 into a PLEX Media Server for Streaming Videos, Movies, Music, and Photos from the Pi4 to any other device that supports PLEX like an Nvidia Shield Amazon Fire stick, Android TV android tablets or phones and even iPads and iPhones. This method is pretty simple and along with your Raspberry Pi PLEX media server, you also have access to a full desktop operating system Ubuntu 20.10 or higher.

DIY Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Case With OLED Stats Display

In this video, I’ll show you how to make your own Raspberry Pi 4 case which looks like a Mini Desktop Computer. The case houses the Raspberry Pi 4 with an Ice Tower fitted for cooling and has a small OLED display on the front which shows the computer’s IP address as well as some stats on the CPU, memory, and storage usage as well as the CPU temperature. The power, HDMI, and audio ports are accessible on the side and the USB and Ethernet ports are accessible on the front of the case.

If you’d like to build your own case, here is the step by step guide with the 3D print file, side templates, and code – https://www.the-diy-life.com/diy-rasp…

Plottin’ Bottles with a CNC Machine

You’ve probably seen a plotter of some kind made from DVD players and the like. These devices, of course, normally work with objects in the XYZ coordinate system. As cool as they are, TUENHIDIY’s build takes things to another level – or at least in another direction – with a pair of printer rollers subbed in for the Y-axis. This allows a bottle to roll in coordination with an X/Z gantry system on top, decorating it with whatever text or drawings are programmed

SS4H-SD Smart Doorbell – DIY project based on ESP32

You surely know this feeling when the doorbell rings while you are doing something interesting: watching a movie, playing a video game, or spending a romantic evening with your loved one. And when it turns out that this is an uninvited/unwanted guest, you get even more pissed off.

Of course, you can ignore it and not open the door, but there will always be this hint of uncertainty – “maybe it was important”.

The solution to this problem is the “smart doorbell”. Thanks to it, you’ll know if it is worth getting up from the couch and opening the door or not.
