Just when we thought our theme parks couldn’t get any better, we’ve caught wind that a Super Nintendo World is planning to set up camp inside of our very own Universal Studios Hollywood! Soon, gamers of all ages and expertise will get to experience an immersive world created around what may arguably be the most recognized video games in the world.

As of right now, all the buzz is centered around Universal Studios Japan and it’s Super Nintendo World opening ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympics. Though there isn’t much information released about the new theme park, Newsweek reports that it will be filled with “incredibly fun rides, shops, a restaurant, and interactive gameplay throughout the land.” If your mind is as blown as ours, wait ’till you watch this video below of ride-testing of some sort in Japan!

The Super Nintendo was released in North America in 1991 and it featured an almost identical lockout chip from the NES known as the CiC. By 1994 cartridge based disk copiers became popular which easily circumvented any region protection. In this video we look at different methods Nintendo used to detect copiers and lock out backup copies.

The Konami code is easily the most memorable cheat code in gaming, spreading its wings outside of the gaming world to appear in song lyrics, movies and television shows. To this day, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start, is an Easter egg you can still find in AAA games, and has appeared in the likes of the Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid series, to name a few.

The Konami code is the brainchild of Kazuhisa Hashimoto – the developer of the Famicom port of Gradius. It’s now being reported that Hashimoto has sadly passed away.

They are finally here! New shells for the Nintendo Switch Lite are up for sale right now and in this video, I installed the Transparent Atomic Purple Shell and it looks absolutely amazing! I’ve wanted to do this since the release of the Nintendo switch lite but no one had the shells available until now. In my opinion, this is the ultimate mod for the Nintendo Switch Lite!

I love the GBA AGB-001 but we all know the stock screen is pretty horrible so in this video, I install a V2 IPS Screen kit in my GBA and it was totally worth it! In my option, this is the best mod you can do to upgrade one of the best handheld consoles ever made!

For the SNES app, Pop’n TwinBee and Smash Tennis are on the way. The NES edition is getting Shadow of the Ninja and Eliminator Boat Duel. All titles are slated for February 19.
