Raspberry Pi is definitely the world’s most popular single-board computer brand, and that popularity is primarily a result of their low cost and small size. Those factors make Raspberry Pi boards ideal for compact projects, and for portable devices in particular. Oracle, however, has taken the complete opposite approach and built a supercomputer made from a cluster of 1,060 Raspberry Pis.

SecuROM – The PC CD-ROM DRM that broke games | MVG
In 1997 a sophisticated PC CD-ROM anti tamper software was introduced by Sony DADC known as SecuROM. SecuROM did much to frustrate paying customers but very little to stop piracy. Here is the story of the most pointless and frustrating DRM in the PC world.

Engineers Design Cannon-Launched Drone for Easy Deployment
Engineers from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and CalTech have developed a quadcopter drone that can be fired from a cannon as a method of safe deployment in crowded and wind-driven environments.
Known as SQUID (Streamlined Quick Unfolding Investigation Drone), the drone is a football-shaped quadcopter that is launched from a tube, deploys its rotors, and stabilizes itself before flying to its objective. The design offers minimal risk during takeoff (avoiding obstacles, debris, people, etc.), and becomes airborne faster than conventional drones.
AtGames Legends Ultimate Arcade Machine Overview,Test,First Thoughts
UPDATE Local streaming is now available using a proprietary ATGames streaming app from Windows so it felt like I had to edit the video and re-upload because I really feel like At-Games is actually trying with this one and I’m personally enjoying this Cab.
In this video I take look at the all-new AtGames Legends Ultimate Arcade Machine preloaded with 350 games plus it has the ability to easily add your own. Available at Walmart and Sams Club for around $499 is it with it? Is it better than the Arcade 1Up cabinets? Let’s find out. This is not my full review video this is an initial first look overview test and my thoughts. Review the video coming up soon.
Power For Your Electronics Projects – Voltage Regulators and Converters
Today we are going to look at the somewhat mundane but absolutely essential subject of supplying power for your electronic projects. Trust me, this stuff is important! Electronic devices typically require either 5 or 3.3 volts, sometimes both.
Other common voltage requirements include 6 and 12 volts for motors and displays. Some complex designs (ie. a robot) require several different supplies with different current capabilities.
When you build your latest robot or IoT device you’ll need to consider how you’ll supply these voltages in the real world. On the workbench you can use a bench power supply if you have one, a USB adapter or even the USB port on a computer (just like with the Arduino).

3D Printing Baby “Yoda”
Baby Yoda is 50 years old. Big Yoda died in Return of the Jedi. Right at the end. The Mandalorian takes place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The timeline is clear: Yoda is the illicit love child of Yoda and Yaddle, who was a member of the Jedi Council circa The Phantom Menace. This seems obvious to me. The timelines match up. It’s also peak Expanded Universe nonsense, so I’m sort of rooting for this theory to be true because it’s terrible, in a good way. What would make more sense is for Baby Yoda to just be a character completely disconnected from anyone in Star Wars as we know it, to make the universe seem broader in scope.
