Oh nice! Free shipping is great, I've made 2 orders both for 2 each and $10 per device. But I've always had to pay shipping.

I'm going to be back to the grind stone I hope this weekend. I had a couple of rough work nights last night and the night before and got 0 sleep so I haven't been doing much with everything for the past 2 days, once I get cought up on sleep I'll be back at it.

Just a heads up, I have yet to look into MAME, this week / weekend has been very hectic with an emergency at Home.

As soon as I can get some time I will provide an update

Hi

i found a solution to make Mame controls Work:

I put the HDMI safe =1 on the boot/config.txt  . then you can plug a mini HDMI

plug a keyboard in the micro USB port of the Pizero

launch a game in mame and press TAB on the keyboard  , the menu open (that why we need a big screen , it is impossible to read on the 1.44" !)

go to general config/ input  , you can now bind new keys for the player one

exit menu , joystick and buttons works ?

the file is save in opt/retropie/configs/mame-mame4all/cfg/default.cfg   you can test my config file :

enjoy

Hi!

I tried to burn the .img but is not working. Only appears a grey screen and then a black one. Is it there any way to do it?

I used Win32DiskImager.

Thank you.

I typically use Etcher, though Win32DiskImager should work as well (Etcher Guide)

Also, be sure you are using the correct .img file, the Pro version of the image is for the multi-button 1.5inch display, and the standard version is for the 3 button / 1.3inch LCD display.

I have yet to upload the 1.4inch 3 button version. Each image is specific to the display/device in use.

Hi!

Thank you.

The problem was the Win32DiskImager.

With Etcher it worked.

Thanks again.

news?

I've been working on different assembly options to get everything, including the battery, fitting just right. It's taken some time as I'm trying to wrap up the Standard version and mark that as officially "complete".

I've also been working on thickening the inner wall a tad to avoid breaking when removing supports etc.

And lastly, I'm getting everything in order for a Giveaway, as well as version 1.1 of the image build.

Once all that is done I should be able to take some time and complete a build video.
