There are 74 million house cats in the United States, four million of which, according to Amazon senior product manager Benjamin Hamm, like to hunt. Hamm’s cat Metric is one such hunter, and while this behavior was great for dealing with a rat infestation in his apartment, the fact that he brings back dead or wounded animals one out of 10 nights is a problem.

The World’s Smallest MRI Machine Just Captured The Magnetic Field of a Single Atom

Using a new technique, scientists have performed the world’s smallest magnetic resonance imaging to capture the magnetic fields of single atoms. It’s an incredible breakthrough that could improve quantum research, as well as our understanding of the Universe on subatomic scales.

“I am very excited about these results,” said physicist Andreas Heinrich of the Institute for Basic Sciences in Seoul. “It is certainly a milestone in our field and has very promising implications for future research.”

Is this the Nintendo Switch Mini? First leaked images appear online!

Despite there being no mention of it at E3, there have been rumours for months now that Nintendo is working on two new models of Switch: a smaller, portable-only version and a new, slightly more powerful edition.
There’s never been any evidence of either but, if it’s not a fake, the above image may be the first evidence that the Switch Mini is real.

How To Make Resin Copies of 3D-Printed Figures

We do a lot of 3D printing at Tested, but it’s a time-consuming process best used for prototyping, not mass production. To replicate our 3D prints, we invited Frank Ippolito up to Adam’s shop to teach us how to make simple rubber molds and cast awesome resin copies. It’s really not difficult to get started!
