Nintendo Will Reportedly Release A $250 LEGO NES Console Next Month

According to a new report which has surfaced online today, Nintendo is set to release a LEGO version of its classic NES console next month.

A series of images have been shared by Chinese site VJgamer, which claims that the upcoming product includes 1:1 brick replicas of the NES itself, the controller, a cartridge, and even a TV which shows Super Mario Bros. on screen (thanks, VGC).

It’s said that owners will be able to open the NES’ front cover and insert the LEGO cartridge, and that the TV features a crank which can make Mario move from one side of the screen to the other. German publication PromoBricks says that the set will launch for €229 / $250 on 1st August.

Breath of the Wild Metroid mod with Samus, her ship, & BGM is incredible

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild probably already enjoys more mods than most Nintendo games thanks to its versatility and general extreme popularity. But this Breath of the Wild Metroid mod is probably the most awesome one I’ve seen yet. Although, it’s actually a series of mods in development from modder Yainskofso. LEGO Super Mario: All Sets Revealed

The LEGO Group has revealed its full Super Mario product list, the result of the toymaker’s collaboration with Nintendo – all of which will launch on August 1.The first items in the range were revealed back in April, where we got a glimpse of the LEGO Super Mario starter pack, which features a chunky Mario figure with interactive LCD screens in his eyes, mouth and belly. LEGO Mario interacts with ‘action bricks’ to display emotions and augment the experience. This will be complemented by the LEGO Super Mario app, which will track a player’s build score and act as an interactive instruction manual.

Switch Fighter transforms the Nintendo Switch into a dedicated arcade stick cabinet with dock support

The Nintendo Switch has emerged as a great system for fighting games from new releases like Mortal Kombat 11, Samurai Shodown and Dragon Ball FighterZ gracing the console along with tons of classics though playing them on an arcade stick can prove difficult at times.

There’s currently a new product campaign on Indiegogo looking to solve that issue called the Switch Fighter which turns the console into a dedicated arcade stick dock with a screen.

Molded in the style of a traditional arcade cabinet flattened out, the Switch Fighter acts as a mini stick featuring six buttons on top of the system with an extra two below along with the system-specific inputs.
