Making “TheC64 Retropie” complete guide for anyone
TheC64 called the “Maxi” was launched some weeks ago. I was one of the backers on the first campaign on IndieGoGo so I received the mini last year also.
The “Maxi” is O.K. for the casual gamer / nostalgia guy who wants to play some commodore 64 and Vic-20 games. I wanted to use my C64 everywhere so I decided to put a RaspberryPi inside using the “Retropie” software that supports VICE which just in christmas, released their 3.4 version.

Marine Wins Prize with 50-Cent Idea to Salvage Damaged Radio Handsets
Instead of spending $52.50 to replace radio handsets with exposed screws — a shock hazard for the operator — Marines can now use a 3D-printed clip that costs 50 cents, according to a service news release.
Lance Cpl. Frederick Sattler won first prize in the First Quarter Commanding General’s Innovation Challenge, “a Shark Tank-style board where Marines and Sailors can present ideas to improve their unit, the base, or the Marine Corps as a whole,” for a simple design that keeps Marines from having to dispose of the damaged handsets.

Moving your Plex Install to Another System
It is possible to move a Plex Media Server installation from one computer/system to another in most cases. It won’t necessarily be possible in all instances. For this article, we’ll refer to the old and new Plex Media Servers as the “Source” and “Destination” installations.
These instructions are designed for moving between two systems running the same operating system (e.g. Windows to Windows). It is generally possible to move between different operating systems, but that’s much more complicated and requires mapping the additional server settings from how they’re stored in one operating system to the other (e.g. mapping Windows registry values to the OS X plist file). That is not officially supported and not covered here.

Later this month, he’ll be in a public place where every person in the room should know his face: the Mammoth Film Festival. On Tuesday, Hawk announced on Instagram that Pretending I’m a Superman, a documentary about the immortal Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game series, will be premiering at the festival on February 29. He’ll be in attendance for a panel with Rodney Mullen and the filmmakers to discuss the film.

RaspberryPi 4 Strides Towards ServerReady Status via SBBR-Compliant UEFI Firmware Effort
A firmware project designed to bring the Raspberry Pi 4 to Server Base Boot Requirement (SBBR) compliance is now in v1.1.
A community effort to get the low-cost yet surprisingly powerful Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer “ServerReady” is bearing fruit, releasing an open-source Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) and Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) firmware compatible with Arm’s Server Base Boot Requirement (SBBR) specification.
