The 1997 ‘Blade Runner’ game is being remastered for consoles and PC

After it recently became available to purchase again following years of legal and technical turmoil, the 1997 Blade Runner PC adventure game is about to be remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Nightdive Studios, the developer behind the recent System Shock and Turok remasters, revealed the Enhanced Edition’s existence in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. What’s more, you’ll be able to play it later this year.

Rumor: Two Nintendo Presentations Expected To Air Before The End Of March

The UK-based retailer GAME may have lifted the lid on a Nintendo Direct presentation ahead of schedule. Now, to add to this, VentureBeat staff writer, reporter and verified Twitter user Jeff Grubb has published an article claiming a Nintendo Indie World video will “likely” be broadcast on 18th March, and a proper Nintendo Direct is expected to follow it on 26th March.

it’s in the final stages of putting the video presentation together. That’s based on what we’re hearing as well as some other indicators.

So, just to make it clear, not one – but two – video presentations are expected to air before the end of this month. While Jeff says he “can’t confirm” the first-party titles that will be shown, he does say the next presentation will take a much “broader” look at Nintendo’s upcoming software line-up.

A new Worms game is in development, due in 2020

For those of you who don’t know, “Worms” is a game where two or more teams of tiny armed worms try to kill each other with rockets, grenades, fireballs, martial-arts techniques and doomsday/apocalypse-level weapons. The first team to kill all the members of the other wins the match. The first instalment of the Worms series was released in 1995, for multiple platforms including PC, MegaDrive, PlayStation, and many more.

E3 2020 To Be Canceled – Sources

E3 2020 will no longer go ahead, multiple sources have told GameSpot. Rumors swirled today that the consumer and trade show would soon be officially canceled amidst dwindling support from video game publishers and platform holders, as well as ongoing safety concerns due to coronavirus. Several sources have confirmed the news to GameSpot, but the ESA has still not officially announced the cancellation.

The first rumblings came from a tweet made by publisher Devolver Digital that encouraged people to cancel their E3 plans, flights, and accommodation. Since then, Ars Technica also published a report stating the cancellation is imminent. Speaking to GameSpot, multiple sources with knowledge on the matter have also indicated this to be the case.

Trailer for “Insert Coin,” a new documentary about the creators of the biggest videogames of the 1990s

“Insert Coin” is a new documentary about Midway, the Chicago-based videogame developer that transformed the industry with Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and other coin-op classics. In a tweet from Rockstar_Mag, a very small but very important discovery has been made on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel. The tweet itself shows that Rockstar has added a private video to their YouTube channel, that hasn’t been unveiled to the public yet. This of course has started the rumors that it could be for Grand Theft Auto 6.

This Is Not A Drill… Universal Studios Hollywood Is Getting A Super Nintendo World!

Just when we thought our theme parks couldn’t get any better, we’ve caught wind that a Super Nintendo World is planning to set up camp inside of our very own Universal Studios Hollywood! Soon, gamers of all ages and expertise will get to experience an immersive world created around what may arguably be the most recognized video games in the world.

As of right now, all the buzz is centered around Universal Studios Japan and it’s Super Nintendo World opening ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympics. Though there isn’t much information released about the new theme park, Newsweek reports that it will be filled with “incredibly fun rides, shops, a restaurant, and interactive gameplay throughout the land.” If your mind is as blown as ours, wait ’till you watch this video below of ride-testing of some sort in Japan!
